Volcanoes National Park:
Volcanoes National Paark is the oldest National Park in Africa created in 1925. It comprised five outstanding volcanic mountains namely Muhabura - 4127m, Mgahinga – 3474m, Sabinyo – 3634m, Bisoke - 3711metres and Krisimbi – 4507m above sea level (up to 15,000 feet) and neatly covered with rich, green rainforest. The Volcanoes are situated in the far northwest of Rwanda and are home to the last population of the rare and endangered mountain Gorilla in the world. The park has other species of animals such golden monkeys. There are different activities besides of animals such as the African Elephant forest elephants, red fronted duikers, Cape forest buffaloes, porcupine etc.
