DAY 0:
Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport:
Met upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Arusha for overnight at Pamoja Expedition Lodge.

 

DAY 1:
Arusha – Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut:
After breakfast at the lodge, aboard your transfer microbus to Momella entrance gate for the climbing formalities to Mount Meru. With picnic lunch you will walk through the forest all the way to Miriakamba hut for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 2:
Miriakamba – Saddle hut:
Early morning start, proceed to Saddle hut for lunch, afternoon at leisure or you can climb to Mount Meru’s little hut for the viewing point. Dinner and overnight at Saddle hut.

 

DAY 3:
Saddle – Summit – Saddle/ Miriakamba/Momella gate:
At the mid night you will start your summiting to be at big Meru before the sun rise, the view is spectacular, then return to Saddle hut for breakfast and relax and dinner and overnight, or descend back to Momella gate or spend a night at Miriakamba Hut or proceed all the way to Momella gate for the transfer back to town.

 

DAY 4:
Saddle/Miriakamba – Momella gate:
After breakfast depart Sadde/Miriakamba hut for the way down to Momella gate, you will say goodbye to your crews from the Meru local community, however the certificate of summit qualifiers will be issued by your Ranger guide at Momella gate, then your driver will pick you up for the transfer back to Arusha town or Kilimanjaro Airport for the flight back home. On the way from Momella gate you will enjoy game drive en route.

 

NB: THIS CLIMBING CAN BE EXTENDED TO ANY WILDLFE SAFARI/ BEACH HOLIDAY OR ANY OTHER ACTIVITY CONDUCTED BY Routes Kilimanjaro.
