Lake Victoria :
Lake Victoria is the world’s third largest fresh water lake. In August 1858 the British Explorer John Speke arrived on the south shore of the great lake which he named Queen Victoria. He concluded that the lake was the source of the River Nile caused a great debate in England just before the fact was confirmed by another Explorer Henry Stanley in 15 years later. Lake Victoria today provide a lot of food and became the an economical outsource for the local tribe surrounding the lake, the day trips from Western Serengeti National Park can be done and other cultural tours can also be done around the Lake Victoria just situated on the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park, also the visit to Lake Victoria can be part of an extension tour from Maasai Mara Kenya and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
