Marungu Route in 7 days
Day 1:
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2:
Breakfast at the hotel,
Then drive from your hotel to Marangu gate, we will spend about two hours for registration, payments of fees and final parking.
Start climbing through dense semi-tropical to the Mandara Hut (9,000ft).

Day 3:
Breakfast at the camp,
then ascend through the alpine meadow, and grassland and moorland to Horombo Hut (12,000ft).
Both Mawenzi and Kibo peaks can be viewed easily on the way.

Day 4:
Breakfast at the camp
Further ascending to Kibo hut (15,000ft).
The landscape becomes very stony and eroded.
Spectacular mountain vegetation like giant cactus, groundswell and lobelia appear on the way.

Day 5:
Wake up at midnight, and after a snack, proceed to the summit through Gilman’s point (18,640ft).
It is about 5-6hours and 1-2 hours from Kibo Hut to Gilman’s point and from Gilman’s point to Uhuru Peak (19,340ft) respectively.
Thus reaching the peak in the early morning of the fifth day and start descending after picture taking on the top to Horombo Hut.
Dinner and overnight at the Horombo Hut.
Day 6:
Breakfast at the camp,
Descend from Horombo Hut to Marangu gate.
The waiting car will take you back to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha.

Breakfast at the hotel
Then you will be transfer to the airport for your return flight, Alternatively:
One may choose 6days/5nights, with an extra day for acclimatization at Horombo hut,
Which will increase your chance to reach the top.
Prices are as follow:
For only one people, the price per person is: 1’407$ US (1105€).
From 2 till 4 people, the price per person is: 1’365$ US (1075€).
From 4 till 6 people, the price per person is: 1335$ US (1050€).
Up to 8 climbers, the price per person is: 1’285$ US (1010€).
Low Season Special Rates:
The discount per person during the low season will be USD 50 per person.
The low season’s rates are applicable from 01st of April till 15th of June and the whole month of November.
Extra Day in the Mountain:
The extra day in the mountain will be charged the supplement of USD 200 per person per day.
