DAY 0:
Arrive Kilimanjaro or Dar es salaam:
Arrive Kilimanjaro or Dar es salaam Airport, transfer to the hotel in town for overnight at Mountain Village Serena/Dar es salaam Serena Hotel.

 

DAY 1:
Arusha/Dar es salaam – Gombe:
Transfer to Arusha/Julius K.Nyerere airport for the light aircraft to Kigoma town. Pick up and drive to Kigoma Hill Top Hotel for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 2:
Kigoma – Gombe:
Morning transfer to Kigoma ferry where you will aboard the speed boat to Gombe Stream National Park, on arrival you will picked up for the transfer to Kungwe Beach lodge for lunch. Pm forest walks, dinner and overnight at Gombe Forest lodge.

 

DAY 3:
Gombe:
Full day of Chimpanzee trekking in Gombe, during the trekking always take some times to watch birds around as birdlife is abundant over here. All meals and overnight at Gombe Forest Lodge.

 

DAY 4:
Gombe – Kigoma:
After breakfast you may have Snorkeling or climb to Kalambo water falls and Jane’s peak. Then with picnic lunch take a boat ride back to Kigoma town for dinner and overnight at Kigoma Hill Top Lodge.

DAY 5:
Kigoma – Arusha/Dar es salaam:
After breakfast drive to the Kigoma airstrip for the flight back to Arusha/Dar es salaam airport for your flight back home or spend a night so that you can proceed with an extension of your choice.

 

NB: THIS TREKKING CAN BE EXTENDED TO ANY WILDLFE SAFARI/ BEACH HOLIDAY OR ANY OTHER ACTIVITY CONDUCTED BY Routes Kilimanjaro.
